A Nigerian man has expressed his frustration online after discovering that his 24-year-old apprentice from Benin Republic doesn't know how to pour fuel into a generator.
The shocking revelation has sparked widespread reactions on social media.
In a post shared on X, formerly Twitter, the man recounted the incident.
He explained that he instructed his apprentice to refuel his generator, only for the young man to admit he didn't know how to do it.
Surprised by the response, the man questioned him further and learned that generators are not commonly used in Benin Republic.
Feeling both astonished and embarrassed, he took to social media to share his experience.
He wrote:
"So I asked my new apprentice, who came in from Benin Republic, to pour fuel into the gen, and he told me he doesn't know how to do it. I was angry because this dude is 24, for crying out loud. Only for him to tell me that they don't use generators in Benin Republic. Shame wan wound me."
