Mohamed Salah spotted jogging the ball before he dispatch his penalty in Liverpool 2-0 win over Man City

Mohamed Salah was casually doing kick-ups with the ball before stepping up to take a decisive penalty against Manchester City.

The Egypt international had another excellent game, setting up the opening goal for Cody Gakpo and then scoring the second in a 2-0 victory.

As Salah prepared for the penalty, Manchester City defender Kyle Walker was seen arguing with the referee over the decision. Meanwhile, Erling Haaland was trying to hype up City's goalkeeper, Stefan Ortega, in a bid to keep the team's spirits up.

The penalty incident occurred when Luis Diaz won a spot-kick by drawing a foul from Stefan Ortega. Despite Ortega diving the right way, Salah's powerful strike gave Liverpool a two-goal cushion.

The match result leaves Liverpool eleven points clear at the top of the Premier League table, with Cody Gakpo and Mo Salah finding the net.
