Harmattan's dryness can leave your skin flaky and your lips cracked. To combat this, apply a rich, oil-based moisturiser regularly to keep your skin hydrated. Natural options like cocoa butter and shea butter are excellent choices. Protect your lips by using a lip balm that contains SPF, which will keep them soft and shield them from the sun. Avoid long, hot showers, as they strip your skin of natural oils; instead, use lukewarm water to help retain moisture.

During harmattan, you are more prone to colds, flu, and respiratory infections, so boosting your immunity is essential. Eating a balanced diet full of fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins A, C, and E can strengthen your immune system.
