Ruben Amorim Reveals Three Best Part of Man United's Performance That Impressed Him vs Bodo Glimt

Ruben Amorim got his first win as Manchester United manager with a hard-fought 3-2 triumph over Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League as reported by The Mirror.

The Portuguese coach acknowledged both the determination and the flaws in his team's performance, revealing the need for further refinement.

The match at Old Trafford began explosively when Alejandro Garnacho capitalized on Rasmus Hojlund's high press, scoring within the opening minute.

However, the Red Devils soon found themselves trailing as goals from Hakon Evjen and Philip Zinckernagel turned the game around in just 23 minutes.

Hojlund, however, rose to the occasion, delivering two crucial goals that sealed the victory.

On the performance, Amorim highlighted both the team's resilience and areas for improvement.

"There was some confusion in the end trying to hold the result, but the lads did a great job. They ran, they pressed, they tried to do the things we have worked on in the last three days and we won!" he told TNT Sports.

Amorim, who recently joined from Sporting CP, also expressed gratitude for the warm reception he's received from fans.

"Half of the stadium doesn't know me, I came from Portugal, and I did nothing for this club," he admitted. "Yet the way they make me feel at home is special."

The manager also praised the team's growing adaptation to his philosophy. While acknowledging mistakes in possession, he noted progress. "We started well but then suffered two goals in two transitions. I like the way the players tried to play our game," he said.
