The governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara recently expressed his happiness at the excitement of the people of the state, particularly civil servants about his administration as a result of the enactment of his people friendly policies. In his statements which were shared online, pointed out that the joy of any government was to see it's people happy, and equally made it known that the people of Rivers State are jubilating.
The recent crisis that rocked Rivers State seemed to have been long forgotten as the governor of the state, Siminalayi Fubara in a recent statement made it known that the people of the state, particularly civil servants are jubilating as a result of his people-oriented policies and programs.
'In his words'
"The greatest joy for any government is to ensure the happiness of its people. Today, our civil servants are jubilating because their salaries have improved. They will remember this and recognize that this government made a difference in their lives." He said.
The statements from the governor however stirred mixed reactions from the general public as many commended him for his efforts in ensuring the happiness of his people unlike his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
