Iran Behind All of Our Enemies, We Won't Enjoy Peace Until Iran Stops Attacking Us-Jonathan Conricus

Jonathan Conricus, a senior spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), has emphasized the urgency of preparing for future military engagements, pointing to Iran as the driving force behind Israel's adversaries.

In a statement posted on his verified Twitter account, Conricus highlighted the IDF's need to regroup and prepare for upcoming challenges in the wake of recent regional developments.

"We now may have 60 days to regroup the ⁦IDF⁩ and prepare for the next assignments, which will come," he wrote. Conricus further identified the Islamic Republic of Iran as the source of Israel's persistent security threats, adding, "We won't enjoy peace or quiet until that regime stops attacking us."

The remarks reflect growing Israeli concerns about Iran's influence in the region, particularly its support for groups like Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas in Gaza, and other allied factions. Conricus's statement comes amid a fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah following weeks of intense hostilities along the northern border.

Israel has consistently accused Tehran of providing financial, military, and logistical backing to these groups, fueling conflicts that undermine regional stability. Iranian officials, meanwhile, maintain that their support for such groups is aimed at countering Israeli aggression and supporting "resistance" movements.

The reference to a 60-day window suggests that the IDF may be using this time to reassess strategies, bolster defense capabilities, and address lessons learned from recent operations. Israeli analysts have pointed to the increasing complexity of threats posed by Iran-backed entities, which include advanced weaponry and cyber capabilities.
