An X user, Alex Oluwatobi, has stated that Nigeria has a problem with its spending habits.
He made this known in a tweet, querying the logic behind spending billions of naira in construction and renovation of government houses.
He pointed out that the construction of the Vice President's residence cost N22 billion, while renovations on the VP residence in Lagos cost N10 billion.
He however, disclosed that a citizen spent N3.4 million in building a solar powered borehole, adding that the money spent on renovation, can provide over 9,000 boreholes in the country.
He therefore maintained that the country does not have a problem with the generation of revenues, but a problem with its spending habits.
