Against Sporting, Bukayo Saka scored his second Champions League goal of the season. At Estadio Jose Alvalade, Arsenal defeated Sporting handily to resume their winning ways in the Champions League.
In what should have been a difficult road match, Mikel Arteta's team was in control the entire time with goals from Saka, Leandro Trossard, Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, and Gabriel. The Gunners jumped over their Premier League rival Manchester City to move up to seventh place in the standings after scoring as many goals at Sporting as they had in their last eight away Champions League games combined.
