Arsenal legend, Ian Wright, has said Manchester United finishing sixth in Ruben Amorim's first season will be "perfect".
Wright believes that missing out on a Champions League place would not be a bad thing for the Red Devils.
United are currently in 12th position after 12 games.
Speaking on Optus Sport, Wright said: "For this season, if Manchester United can blast themselves up into sixth and all that.
"It's perfect for what they're doing with a new manager. Sixth, easy!"
Amorim recorded a 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town in his first game and will be looking to take all three points when they host Everton this weekend.
