Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville, has said Arsenal and Liverpool must take advantage of Manchester City's slump this season.
City's hopes of becoming the first Premier League side to win five consecutive titles took another blow on Saturday, as they were hammered 4-0 at home by Tottenham Hotspur.
Liverpool could go eight points clear of Pep Guardiola's men if they win at Southampton on Sunday.
Arsenal are now one point behind the champions, following their 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
On City's current downfall, Neville said on Sky Sports:
"If you're Arsenal or Liverpool - you must feel there's no excuses now.
"I'm looking more at Arsenal with that statement. This was Arsenal's season if it wasn't going to be City's."
