A woman has called out Nigerian film makers after her wedding photo with her husband was used in a movie without her consent.

The Nigerian woman who lives in the UK said the filmmaker took her wedding photo and edited the faces of the actors to it then used it in a movie.

She shared her outrage on X, writing: "Huge chunk of those in the Nigerian entertainment industry (and the whole country tbh) have an affinity for mediocrity

"Shoddy attempt at creativity and just overall unprofessionalism.

"Cos why is my wedding picture in a movie with faces of the actors plastered on our faces?"

She added: "I've tried my best to reach out to the writer(?) of the movie, all to no avail. As a person in such public space, why are you unreachable? Just senseless on all fronts."
