Chidinma Adetshina receives title of Miss Universe Africa and Oceania for being the highest placing African at the Miss Universe contest (Video)

Nigeria's representative at the just concluded Miss Universe contest, Chidinma Adetshina has received the title of Miss Universe Africa and Oceania.

Chidinma emerged first runner up while Miss Denmark, Victoria Kjaer won the crown during the contest which held last night, Nov. 16, in Mexico.

Miss Universe Nigeria was given the continental title as the highest placing African at the contest.

Meanwhile, a South African account took to their official X handle to say South Africans are proud of her, but Nigerians slammed them for trying to claim her after previously denying her.
