Real Madrid completed their first training session of the November international break on Tuesday with eight players absent, seven injured and Kylian Mbappe joining the academy to complete the session.
In total, 15 absentees for Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, in addition to Fran Garcia, who trained in the gym as a precautionary measure and without the need to force himself as Real Madrid's next La Liga game is on 24 November when they visit Leganes.
Of these, eight players were on international duty - Jude Bellingham (England), Antonio Ruediger (Germany), Eduardo Camavinga (France), Luka Modric (Croatia), Arda Guler (Turkey), Vinicius Jr (Brazil), Fede Valverde (Uruguay) and Brahim Diaz (Morocco) - and seven injured - Aurelien Tchouameni, Thibaut Courtois, David Alaba, Lucas Vazquez, Rodrygo Goes, Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao.
Of the injured, only Eder Militao did not attend the training complex at Valdebebas as he will undergo surgery in the coming days to repair the anterior cruciate ligament injury to his right knee suffered last Saturday against Osasuna.
With all these absentees, but with Mbappe having been absent for the second consecutive time from Didier Deschamps' France squad, Ancelotti was able to count on the members of the academy to complete the training session.
