Following the recent U.S. presidential election, in which Donald Trump emerged victorious over Kamala Harris, discussions have arisen around certain high-profile prophecies that predicted different outcomes. Primate Ayodele, a well-known Nigerian cleric, found himself at the center of such discussions as some media outlets claimed he had "predicted" Harris would win the election. Primate Ayodele, however, has clarified his statements, emphasizing the distinction between prophecy and prediction.
In an interview, Ayodele explained that he does not engage in predictions or "permutations" but rather delivers prophecies as divinely revealed to him. He stressed, "I make prophecies, not predictions... What God has not revealed to me, I don't speak about." He further clarified that he had never explicitly declared Harris as the election's winner. Instead, he mentioned that, at the time of his October 30th prophecy, Harris was in a favorable position to win, provided she maintained momentum and strengthened her campaign in key areas.
Ayodele's prophecy also included a warning for Harris to secure her strongholds and avoid underestimating Trump's influence. According to Ayodele, Harris ultimately did not heed these warnings, which he believes contributed to her defeat. He expressed frustration over the misrepresentation of his words, affirming that he would stand by what he said: "I never said Kamala Harris would win; I only spoke to her current standing at the time."
