A Nigerian lady recently shared a shocking story of unknowingly boarding a Lagos bus with four drivers, only to discover that she and the other passengers were being used to train three drivers under the guidance of the bus owner.
In a post shared on her page via the popular social media platform X (formerly Twitter), she recounted the unsettling experience.
She mentioned that she had boarded the bus without realizing it was staffed by four drivers.
It wasn't until passengers began questioning the frequent driver changes that they were told the bus owner was training three new drivers.
In her post, she wrote:
"The bus I entered going home had four different drivers! I was really scared at first, wondering, 'Is this the new style in Lagos?' Then, when it got to the fourth driver's turn, someone in the bus (not me) finally spoke up and asked why they kept changing drivers."
"Guess what the man said? The other three guys were learners, and he was trying to test them! You carry passengers for a bus to train boys and proudly say it too!"
She added, "You wouldn't even suspect a thing, because the owner was actually driving, one was in the 'driver's wife' seat, and the other two were hanging onto the bus. Lord knows if I had known they were using us for practice, I wouldn't have boarded."
As the post circulated online, concerned individuals flocked to the comment section to express their reactions.
