Manchester United were back in action in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday when they hosted PAOK Thessaloniki at the Old Trafford Stadium. The Red Devils were looking to secure their first victory in the tournament by defeating this Greek team on home soil.

Manchester United slightly dominated the match in the first half against PAOK Thessaloniki. They created a few goalscoring chances and also had the possession counts in their favour. Both teams failed to score a goal in the first period as they settled for a goalless draw at halftime.

The Red Devils finally opened the scoring in the 50th minute of the match as Amad Diallo found the back of the net with a stunning header to make the scoreline 1-0. The Ivorian International doubled Manchester United's lead in the 77th minute of the match as he scored another wonderful goal to make the scoreline 2-0. Manchester United held on to their lead for the remaining minutes of this encounter as they secured a well-deserved 2-0 victory over PAOK Thessaloniki at full-time.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray bounced back to winning ways in the Europa League yesterday when they took on Tottenham Hotspur at the Rams Park Stadyumu. The Turkish Giants performed impressively on the pitch as they narrowly defeated Spurs 3-2 thanks to Victor Osimhen's brace and a goal from Yunus Akgün.
