Former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi has called for the arrest of individuals who claim during church testimonies that they "miraculously" received credit alerts after praying.
The practice of individuals testifying to "miraculously" receiving credit alerts after praying is very common in Nigerian churches.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Honest Bunch Podcast, Obi insisted that it is theft and not a "miracle" as the testifiers often claim.
"God can bless handiwork, productivity and industry. But he cannot bless someone who is sleeping. Anybody who says he got alert from praying should be arrested. You have stolen somebody's money," he said.
