Victor Osimhen has praised his teammates for their efforts in the Istanbul derby win over Besiktas on Monday night.
The Yellow and Reds claimed a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Besiktas.
Davidson Sanchez gave Galatasaray the lead early in the game.
Osimhen doubled the advantage with a glorious header after the break.
"We were good in terms of play. We faced a team with talented players, especially forwards. I am happy with the goal contribution," the Nigeria international told the club's official website.
"This is important; but the team's performance was more important. Now we need to continue by building on this momentum."
Osimhen has now scored four goals for Galatasaray this season.
