Liverpool Defender, Trent Alexander-Arnold has declared that he wants to be the first full-back to win the Ballon d'Or award.
The England international spoke ahead of Liverpool's Premier League tie with Arsenal on Sunday.
No full-back has ever won the Ballon d'Or in the past.
However, former Italy defender, Fabio Cannavaro, who played as a centre-back during his playing days, won the Ballon d'Or, in 2006 after leading his country to win the FIFA World Cup.
"My main target? I'd say to win a Ballon d'Or," Trent Alexander-Arnold said via Fabrizio Romano.
"Because I believe I can. I want to be the first full-back to ever do it".
Meanwhile, the winner for the 2024 Ballon d'Or will be announced on Monday.
The likes of Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, Rodri, Kylian Mbappe, Dani Carvajal are all competing for the award.
