Activist Rinu Oduala and FCT Police PRO Josephine Adeh engaged in a fierce exchange online.
It began when the police PRO shared a press release on X to make a clarification on rumours regarding the alleged arrest and detention of a minor.
Adeh added her photo to the post.
Rinu, who became known for her activism during the 2020 End SARS protest, replied, asking why her photo is relevant to the statement being publicised.
"What does your picture have to do with the irrelevant information you just gave?" Rinu wrote.
Adeh replied: "Rinu let's not go that route with you cause I will be so ready for it , trust me on God I will."
And Rinu responded: "There is nothing Rinu won't see with PROs of armed robbers on these streets.
"Dear SP Josephine, if you don't go that 'route', na God go punish you."
