Man UTD Receive Injury Boost

In the course of this season, Manchester United have had to deal with a series of injuries to most first team players. The Red Devils have played with fewer first-team players than expected.

However, Manchester United have received a huge injury boost ahead of their Europa League match against Fenerbahce on Thursday. Premier League new boy Leny Yoro is back in training after a foot operation.

The Manchester club revealed on Monday that the center-back is back on the grass at Carrington after injuring his foot in the summer. He is now doing individual training work at the club's training ground and is being put through his paces in the gym, too. Although the club stressed that there is still plenty of work to do for the youngster before he makes his Red Devils debut, this is a step in the right direction.

The 18-year-old defender joined the Old Trafford club from Lille in July for £52 million ($68 million). However, he is yet to play for their first team in a competitive game due to the setback that required surgery.

Leny Yoro had an impressive performance with Lille and will be expected to replicate that form when he takes to the field of play, putting on the Manchester United jersey. The highly-rated defender made 44 appearances for Lille in all competitions last season and scored three goals. His impressive performance made him to be included in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year in the 2023/2024 season.

The Red Devils are anxiously waiting to receive back a fully fit Leny Yoro into the first team and will be expecting him to replicate the form that made Manchester United go all out to sign him this summer.

Do you think Leny Yoro's return will greatly improve Manchester United?
