A man has taken to social media to lament and recount how he was banned from officiating in church because he didn't send money for their pastor's birthday.
The man identified as @Ayibatonye01 on X took to the microblogging platform to share his encounter.
According to the man their pastor had a birthday celebration, and he was asked to send cash for his celebration, which he didn't.
Because of this, he was banned from officiating in Church on Sunday, with other punishments to follow.
He lamented that he was told that the contribution was said to be voluntary.
His words read ...
"Because I didn't send money for papa's birthday I am banned from officiating this Sunday & more punishment might be meted, after you have said it's a voluntary contribution.
You aren't even minding the financial capacity of some, others have sent but me I will not send......."
