"I treat everybody the same," Hogan said. "We're talking about John Kennedy in the Democratic Party. I was in fifth grade. That party was kind of like the way Donald Trump is-middle-of-the-road, country-western, NASCAR." Hogan's remarks reflect his belief that the Democratic Party of his childhood represented middle-American values, something he now associates with today's Republican Party.

Hogan went on to discuss how the political conversation has shifted in recent years. "Now all of a sudden, the Republican Party is like that," he added. "When they tell you Republicans are demonic and a domestic threat, listen to where people are speaking from-that's exactly who they are."

According to him, "At the end of the day, I treat everybody the same. We're talking about John Kennedy in the Democratic Party. I was in fifth grade. That party was kind of like the way Donald Trump is-middle-of-the-road, country-western, NASCAR. Now all of a sudden, the Republican Party is like that. When they tell you Republicans are demonic and a domestic threat, listen to where people are speaking from-that's exactly who they are."
