Seun Kuti has showered encomiums on his late father and Afrobeat musician, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, in a recent Instagram post.
According to report, Seun eulogised the impact of Fela who died 27 years ago on the lives of his children, saying that it had continued to grow in them since his demised in 1997.
In his word, the 41 years old Afrobeat star said, "Every year since you passed to the great beyond, your impact on our live has continued to grow. Every note, every phrase, every dance, every song and every albums to show my love for. I miss you! I play my sax for you dad. I live for your legacy, and I am loyal to the mission. I love you big man more than words can express."
The report went further to also recall that Seun was 14 years of age when he became the lead singer of the popular "Egypt 80". It additionally made it known that the band had sustained the infectious worldwide groove of Afrobeat under the direction of his late father.
