Chief Dr. Deji Adeleke, father of Nigerian music superstar Davido, has opened up about the significant hurdles he faced while constructing his $2 billion power plant.
The Nigerian billionaire businessman, known for his massive contributions to the nation's business and educational sectors, detailed the challenges during a recent speech at a conference in Maryland, USA.
Adeleke, who also serves as the President of Adeleke University and CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited, revealed that a particular government official attempted to thwart the entire project.
Although he declined to name the official, he emphasized that the individual's efforts were aimed at ensuring that the power plant would never come to fruition.
He expressed deep gratitude to God for stepping in and enabling the project's success despite these roadblocks.
According to him, the intervention of divine providence was key in overcoming these seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
