Diddy's mother appeared solemn, wearing oversized glasses and a fur coat, as she held onto a supporter's arm while walking to the courthouse on Thursday, October 10. Previously, Diddy's mother had expressed her support for her son, stating, "he's not a monster." However, as she approached the courthouse, the crowd heckled her, shouting, "Janice, your son is a predator. Your son is a predator and he deserves to be locked up."

Recall that Diddy's mom issued a heartfelt statement through her lawyer, Natlie G. Figgers, expressing her devastation over the public's treatment of her son.

She stated, "It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies."

She described the public reaction as a "public lynching" and shared her emotional pain over the situation. While defending him, Diddy's mother acknowledged her son's past mistakes, specifically referring to a 2016 hotel incident involving his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, saying, "I am not here to portray my son as perfect because he is not."

She explained that sometimes the truth and lies become intertwined, which may have influenced her son's decision to settle Cassie's lawsuit out of court.

Janice Combs also suggested that many of the current allegations are financially motivated, pointing out how quickly her son's legal team settled the lawsuit. She expressed her frustration over the public ridicule and jokes surrounding her son's legal battles, saying, "Watching the world make jokes and laugh at my son's life crumbling before our eyes is something I can never forget."

In her closing remarks, she reiterated her hope for justice, praying for the day her son could tell his side of the story and be vindicated.
