Lionel Messi is set to expand his influence beyond football with the launch of his own production company, 525 Rosario.
The company's name holds sentimental value, with "525" representing the street number of Messi's family home and "Rosario" referencing his hometown in Argentina.
The venture will focus on producing family-oriented programming and premium television content.
Messi will partner media giants Smuggler Entertainment, to produce films, sporting events, and branded commercials for athletes, including the player himself.
Based in both Los Angeles and Miami, where Messi now plays for Inter Miami, the company aims to create content with global appeal.
"Entertainment has always been a passion for me," Messi said.
"I'm really motivated by the opportunity to pursue the project we created with Smuggler Entertainment and to expand further to create content and experiences on a global scale through this new venture," he added.
