Former Argentina striker, Sergio Aguero, has said Real Madrid signing Kylian Mbappe does not guarantee that they will win the Champions League.
Madrid lifted a record-extending 15th title last season.
The LaLiga giants have since landed Mbappe as a free agent this summer.
Since his arrival in Spain, Mbappe has scored four goals in his first six matches.
Aguero, speaking on behalf of Stake, admitted that Madrid are favourites to win the competition again, but it would need team work.
"Nobody's ever been able to count Real Madrid out. No need to say that. Mbappe joining them only serves to make them a bigger threat," Aguero said.
"I think he's a shoo-in to be La Liga's next Pichichi (top scorer). Nevertheless, a single player doesn't make the difference. The team does.
"There's many of those vying to take the Champions, and they'll fight tooth-and-nail for it."
