EPL: Ten Hag rules out two Man Utd players against Southampton

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has given the injury updates ahead of their trip to Southampton this weekend.

The Red Devils are looking to bounce back from a 3-0 thrashing in the hands of Liverpool before the international break.

Ten Hag's men only have three points from their first three fixtures and the game against the Saints is a must-win.

But the Dutchman will be without Rasmus Hojlund and Luke Shaw, while Manuel Ugarte could make the squad.

"[Rasmus] Hojlund and [Luke] Shaw are progressing well but not ready," Ten Hag told reporters today.

"[Manuel] Ugarte, you've seen he played for Uruguay and returned this afternoon - the only player. He is available for this game."
