Japan head coach, Michihisa Kano is expecting a difficult duel against Nigeria, Torizone reports.
The 2018 champions will take on the Falconets in a second-round tie at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup on Friday morning.
The encounter is slated for the Estadio El Techo, Bogota.
The Asian champions won all their three group stage matches but Kano knows things will be difficult from the knockout round.
"It was very good that we won all three matches but we know that the opponents will be tougher from now on," Kano was quoted by FIFA.com.
"We need to work on improving our condition and the team's chemistry. All the remaining teams that we will face from here on will be strong, so we must be well prepared."
