American actor Tyrese Gibson has described marriage as "true wealth."
Featuring on a recent episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast, the movie star said successful people, such as celebrity couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z, understand the concept of marriage as "true wealth."
Gibson said, "True wealth is marriage. Jay-Z and Beyoncé understand that. Nobody needs to go home to a vibrator. Nobody needs to be alone. Nobody should be alone. This concept of being alone is bullsh*t!
"Because most of your favorite female singers who are out here singing these songs are going home to their man, fiancé, or husband... Nobody wants to be alone. Companionship is biblical. Marriage is very important."
The actor has been married and divorced twice. He was married to Norma Mitchell from 2007 to 2009. In 2017, he married Samantha Lee, but their union hit the rocks in 2020.
