AFCON 2025 qualifier: 'Super Eagles ready for Rwanda' - Ilechukwu

Interim assistant coach of the Super Eagles, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has singled out Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi and Moses Simon for praise ahead of Nigeria's 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifying clash against Rwanda on Tuesday.

Ilechukwu also said that Nigeria's clash with Rwanda will be tough.

The Super Eagles head into the game following a 3-0 win over Benin Republic on Saturday.

"I'm so happy, we are happy, Nigerians are happy. We are happy because we won with little time so to me, the happiest man on earth," Ilechukwu said in a video posted on the X handle of Official54fx.

"We will do our best, to me, the boys are ready; we have prepared very well. It's going to be a very tight game but we will do our best.

"We have players like Osimhen and Co, so everybody is ready. We saw what Moses did, saw Ndidi in the middle and our bench is solid."
