Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is now third on the list of Nigeria's all-time top scorers after surpassing Yakubu Aiyegbeni.
Osimhen, who is on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, scored a goal as the Super Eagles defeated Benin Republic 3-0 in their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifying clash on Saturday evening in Uyo.
His teammate Ademola Lookman scored a brace.
Osimhen now has 22 goals for the Super Eagles and remains behind Rashidi Yekini and Segun Odegbami.
