Angel Di Maria has brutally named the worst manager he has worked with in his football career.
The Argentine recently called an end to his international career after winning another Copa America with Argentina.
The forward has played with a lot of managers in his football career, having moved from one club to another.
However, he has declared that Louis van Gaal, the former manager of Manchester United, is the worst manager he has ever worked for.
Di Maria names worst manager
The current Benfica winger was asked to choose his three best managers of all time in an interview with ESPN Argentina, as reported by the Sun.
And although he found it difficult to choose just ten managers, he gave his immediate opinion on the Dutchman.
He said, without being asked: "The worst is Van Gaal, of that I can assure you without a doubt. Just to let you know before you ask. In case you had any doubt, I'll clear that up for you right now."
Van Gaal shattered the British transfer record for Di Maria when he took over at Old Trafford in 2014 when United paid Real Madrid £59.7 million.
Di Maria, however, was unable to reach his peak in Manchester and moved for £44 million the next year to Paris Saint-Germain.
Over his brilliant career, the Argentine star flourished at nearly every club; however, at United, things did not go as planned, and he seems to be blaming Van Gaal for it.
When asked to list the best coaches he has worked under, but he could not choose between Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti.
He admitted, "And after, it's hard. I had a lot of coaches. Mourinho, Ancelotti. I played for so many good managers that it's hard to pick."
Di Maria went on to win the 2011 Copa del Rey and 2012 LaLiga trophies before winning his first and only Champions League title with Ancelotti in charge of Los Blancos in 2014.
