Adele, 36, confirmed over the weekend that she's taking a long break from music after her Las Vegas residency ends.
"I have 10 shows to do, but after that, I will not see you for an incredibly long time, and I will hold you dear in my heart," Adele said in a TikTok clip from one of her performances in Munich, Germany.
Fans reacted to Adele's announcement in the comments section.
"Please don't leave us," one person wrote.
"Noooo," another fan said.
"Good for her! Enjoy your break Adele," a third comment read.
Fans speculated that Adele is taking time away from her career to get married to her fiancé Rich Paul. She confirmed her engagement to the 42-year-old sports agent at one of her earlier Munich shows last month.
The singer first shared the news about her break from music in July.
"I don't have any plans for new music at all," she told German outlet ZDF.
"I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while," she added.
Adele began her Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in November 2022. Her final show is scheduled for Nov. 23
Adele's last album, "30," came out in 2021. She typically releases a new album once every few years.
