As the scarcity of petrol continues to linger on, actor/politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, has taken a dig at Nigerians who are now purchasing the commodity for as much as N1000 per litre.

He pointed out that this set of people who are currently queuing to buy petrol at N1000 per litre were still the same ones who filed out to protest against the increase of petrol to N140 per litre many years ago in Ojota.

He went on to mention that the people who led the protest back then are the ones who have now increased it to as much as N1000 per litre.

Recall that there was a protest in 2012 during the Jonathan administration when petrol was increased to N140 per litre. Current President Bola Tinubu partook in the protest.
