EPL: Three matches that could produce shock results this weekend

The summer transfer window was shut on Friday night and it is time for clubs to get back to competitive action.

And this weekend, there will be a couple of interesting fixtures in the Premier League.

This is the last match day before the international break and teams will be looking to sign off with wins.

But which three fixtures could see shock results?

1. Arsenal vs Brighton: Both teams have won their first two games of the new season. So, something has to give in the early kick-off at the Emirates. You can say Arsenal were lucky to win at Aston Villa last weekend. If Ollie Watkins converted any of the chances he got before Leandro Trossard's opener, that game would have turned out another way. Brighton might be in an unforgiving mood if the Gunners don't come out firing.

2. West Ham vs Man City: Pep Guardiola's men typically don't start the campaign in great fashion. But this time around, they have won two of two and travel to West Ham in Saturday's late kick-off. The Hammers bounced back with a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace and look set to be up and running under Julian Lopetegui. City would need to be at their ruthless best at the London Stadium or they could drop points.

3. Chelsea vs Crystal Palace: Chelsea thrashed Wolves 6-2 last weekend, in a display that would have encouraged Enzo Maresca and lifted their fans. However, the Blues were brought back to earth, as they lost 2-1 to Servette in the UEFA Conference League play-off second leg. That result was a stark reminder that there is still a lot of work to do. Added with the fact that Palace need to get points on the board, this could be a tricky one at Stamford Bridge.
