Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has admitted that in terms of his first-choice XI, he was "far away" from deciding its exact composition.
Maresca has taken charge of two competitive fixtures so far since arriving at Stamford Bridge.
The first was a 2-0 defeat at home to Premier League champions Manchester City.
Four days later, they beat Servette 2-0 in a UEFA Conference League play-off.
Maresca picked two different starting XIs for the matches and ahead of their trip to Wolves in the league on Sunday, he said:
"I judge the first XI depending on how they work every day.
"If they are bad in a training session and they don't train with intensity, they are not going to play.
"If they don't train well from Sunday to Thursday - they are not going to play [either] in the Premier League and they are not going to play on Thursday [against Servette]."
