Manchester United will have everything crossed they got through the Community Shield unscathed.

Having been hit harder than most when it came to injuries last season, United have encountered similar problems this summer, with new signing Leny Yoro and Rasmus Hojlund facing three months and six weeks out respectively. However, they are not the only fitness concerns for Erik ten Hag ahead of the Premier League curtain raiser.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia were also missing beneath the famous arch and remain the four main doubts for an impending showdown with Fulham on Friday night (8pm). Here, we take a look at the Carrington treatment table with predicted return dates for six United players;

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Injury: Unspecified

Possible return date: August 16 vs Fulham

What Ten Hag has said: "Azza [Wan-Bissaka] and Luke Shaw are both question marks, we have to assess them."

Leny Yoro

Injury: Foot

Predicted return date: November 2024

What Ten Hag has said: "I'm sure he [Yoro] will be returning as soon as possible to support the team and he will help the team winning games and winning trophies."

Victor Lindelof

Injury: Unspecified

Possible return date: August 16 vs Fulham

What Ten Hag has said: "Harry Maguire missed the game [against Liverpool], [it] was a precaution but is still a question mark for Saturday. So we have training, we have to see whether he is fit enough or not to be available. Victor played, but also he's a question mark."

Man United defender Luke Shaw.

Luke Shaw

Injury: Unspecified

Possible return date: August 16 vs Fulham

What Ten Hag has said: "Azza [Wan-Bissaka] and Luke Shaw are both question marks, we have to assess them."

Tyrell Malacia

Injury: Knee

Return date: TBC

What Ten Hag has said: "He had setbacks in his rehab process. Now we've turned a point and it's positive. He will return soon on the pitch. I don't think then it will take long before he's returning in the team training."

Rasmus Hojlund

Injury: Hamstring

Predicted return date: September 2024

The Manchester Evening News understands Hojlund will be side-lined for around six weeks. The former Atalanta striker, who signed for United last summer, picked up a hamstring injury during a pre-season friendly with Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles overnight (UK time) on Saturday, July 27.
