Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has named Harry Maguire in his 21-man squad for the Community Shield match against Manchester City.

Maguire, who has been dealing with an injury and missed United's recent pre-season defeat to Liverpool, is a welcome addition for Ten Hag as the team faces a shortage of key defensive players.

Victor Lindelof, Lisandro Martinez, and Jonny Evans are all set to miss the match.

Manchester United aims to win the Community Shield for the first time since 2016. The squad for the match includes:

Onana, Bayindir, Heaton; Dalot, Maguire, Evans, Martinez, Amass; Casemiro, Mount, Collyer, McTominay, Mainoo, Fernandes; Rashford, Amad, Antony, Garnacho, Sancho, Pellistri, Zirkzee.
