The national electricity grid has again collapsed, leaving various homes in the country in darkness.
The collapse was confirmed by an official of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), who described it as a partial collapse.
The TCN official further revealed that power was being restored gradually.
The total generation on the grid dropped to zero as of 1:33 pm on Monday. This latest collapse marks the fifth time the national grid has failed in 2024
