Timi Frank Urges Tinubu to Release Detained Protesters, call Security agents to order.

According to report, Former APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Timi Frank, has called on President Bola Tinubu to order the immediate and unconditional release of all protesters detained by police and other security agencies.

In a Sunday statement, Frank emphasized the need for the President to prevent further violence and the use of lethal force against peaceful demonstrators by law enforcement. He noted that while the protests are driven by genuine grievances, some sponsored groups have infiltrated the demonstrations in various states, aiming to discredit the organizers and justify security crackdowns.

Frank asserted that Nigerians possess an inalienable right to protest against policies that negatively impact them, urging that their calls for change be respected for the collective good.

He implored President Tinubu to ensure that security agents respect these rights and to call them to order to avoid further suppression of legitimate demonstrations.
