A legal practitioner, identified simply as JP, has stated that the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protests will resume on the next Independence Day, 1 October 2024, if President Bola Tinubu fails to address the demands of the protesters.
He said this on Sunday while speaking to journalists at the Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park in the Ojota area of Lagos State.

#EndBadGovernance protest: Atiku condemns use of live ammunition

Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, has condemned what he called the heinous act of using live ammunition on citizens peacefully protesting against bad governance, as witnessed today in Kano and Abuja.
He said in a statement late Saturday night that the action is utterly intolerable and reminiscent of the dark days of military dictatorship.
