Governor Siminalayi Fubara's motorcade was obstructed on Saturday by protesters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
As reported by Newsmen, the demonstrators called for the governor to step down and engage with them directly.

During the protest in Port Harcourt today, the crowd of protesters brandishing green branches and expressing their fervour, filled the streets while demanding an end to poor governance.
Despite Governor Fubara's convoy passing through, the protesters remained steadfast in their demonstrations.
The gatherings in Port Harcourt have continued for three consecutive days as part of the #EndBadGovernance movement, which commenced on August 1, 2024.
Participants assembled at Pleasure Park, holding placards and affirming their commitment to stay until their voices were heard.
Concurrently, similar protests are taking place in Ojota, Lagos, the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja, and other regions.
