Transfer: Maresca bans Chelsea midfielder from first-team squad to force exit

Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has banned Conor Gallager from the first-team group.

Gallagher has now been banished from the dressing room, according to talkSPORT.

The Blues have accepted a £33million bid for the player from Atletico Madrid.

But the midfielder wants to leave on his own terms.

Gallagher, who is out of contract in 2025, has also turned down two recent offers from Chelsea over a two-year extension.

The Blues have informed the 24-year-old he will not be training with the first-team when they return from their pre-season tour of the United States.
