The result will probably be the furthest thing in Erik ten Hag's mind when he sits to assess the fallout from Manchester United's defeat to Arsenal.
The 2-1 defeat will likely sting in the immediate aftermath, but the Rasmus Hojlund and Leny Yoro injury situation is much more concerning in the bigger picture.
Both youngsters, who figure to be a crucial part of this season's squad make-up, came off in the first half due to injury concerns.
Ten Hag gave his thoughts on the situation after the game which was a bit more encouraging than the fans were expecting.
Now, Hojlund has given his take on his injury as well...
Rasmus Hojlund's response to his injury
The Dane came off minutes after scoring with what appeared to be a groin issue as he headed straight back down the tunnel.
After the game, he stopped in the mixed zone to have a chat with the reporters. As expected, his injury was the question on everyone's minds and he was showered with questions.
Hojlund, keen to not give away much until further tests were done, simply replied with a two-word response that is unlikely to calm the fans down.
He said, "We'll see", which, in isolation, doesn't seem to give away much but generally if a player feels fine in the immediate aftermath, they are always keen to play down the fears.
Hojlund, especially, has always been the type to communicate frankly with the United fans, be it good or bad.
So for him to take this stance is worrying for fans, who are expecting a breakout season from their striker after being handed the No. 9 shirt.
Needs deeper investigation
If injuries to Yoro and Hojlund do turn out to be serious, there needs to be a serious conversation about the state of affairs at the club.
Ten Hag has already stressed that a barrage of changes have been brought about in the medical department the results of which should be seen soon.
However, in the meantime, the club already lost two key players in the first 30 minutes of action in the USA.
United's pre-season last year started in a similar fashion, as the likes of Kobbie Mainoo suffered injuries that delayed his breakthrough by a few months.
Yoro needs to be playing regularly right now to not only acclimatise himself to his new surroundings but also get used to playing with new teammates.
Hojlund, on the other hand, can't afford to miss too much time if he is to develop a partnership with new signing Joshua Zirkzee.
The Dutch striker can play in his place as well so United's situation is not as dire as it was last year but it nonetheless stresses the need for a deeper investigation into the injury situation and the need for squad depth reinforcements.
