Jon Voight, veteran American actor and father of superstar actress, Angelina Jolie, has berated his daughter over her support for Palestine in the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.
Jolie has been vocal about her support for Palestinian civilians in the wake of the war ravaging the country.
Speaking on his daughter's stance on the war, Voight claimed that she was being influenced by the United Nations, UN, in the guise of fighting for human rights.
He noted that he loves his daughter and doesn't want to fight with her.
"I love my daughter. I don't want to fight with my daughter, but the fact is, I think she has been influenced by the U.N," Voight said in an interview with Variety.
"From the beginning, it's been awful with human rights. They call it human rights, but it's just anti-Israel bashing."
We recall that American singer, Kehlani, recently revealed that she lost opportunities and deals due to her support for Palestine.
In a chat with the Breakfast Club, the singer who raised $500,000 for the people of Gaza, Congo and Sudan, stated that her charitable act earned "a lot of pushback."
