Transfer: Chelsea terminates defender's contract as Man Utd submits De Ligt offer

Chelsea have terminated the contract of Malang Sarr.

Sarr will now leave the Premier League club for RC Lens as a free agent.

This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Monday.

Romano wrote on X: "Malang Sarr leaves Chelsea as a free agent by terminating the contract and signing for RC Lens.

"It's over between Sarr and Chelsea, as L'Équipé reports.

"Medical tests ongoing the contract will be signed today for the defender."

Manchester United have now sent in their first bid for Bayern Munich, Matthijs de Ligt.

According to BILD, the Bundesliga giants have rejected the offer believed to be €35M.

Bayern are demanding €50M plus add-ons to sell De Ligt.
