US House of Representatives member, Bredan Boyle, has revealed his conversation with Joe Biden after the President withdrew from the Democrats nomination for the November 2024 presidential election.
We broke the news of Biden's withdrawal from the United States November presidential election, which brought to an end his 2024 re-election campaign.
Biden made the announcement amid mounting pressure from his Democratic colleagues on Capitol Hill, top donors and Hollywood stars after a disastrous debate performance last month.
Earlier reports had it that an increasing number of Democrat lawmakers publicly called for Biden to step aside.
And after the historic announcement, Boyle wrote,
"Earlier this evening President Biden called me and we had a good conversation. He graciously thanked me for my friendship and strong support.
"Says a lot about the man that, even on this day, he's calling his friends to say thanks."
