Madonna's son, David Banda, got candid about what his life looks like since he left his mum's expensive abode.
David, 18 is one of the Queen of Pop's six children alongside Lourdes, 27, Rocco, 23, Mercy, 18, and 11-year-old twins Stella and Estere.
David is the latest child to fly the nest after moving out to live with his girlfriend Maria Atuesta, 21, in the New York City neighbourhood, The Bronx, as he tries to make it on his own in the Big Apple.
On a recent Instagram live, he spoke about the humbling, but joyous, experience.
'I love it. I'm not on my own, I've got my girlfriend. But I love it,' he said.
'It's lovely to experience it being nine o'clock at night, me being hungry and realizing that I don't have enough money to get food and scavenging. It's fun to be young.'
The budding musician and model is currently teaching guitar lessons to scrape in some extra cash. Prospective students can book through his Instagram (with almost 52k followers) for $200 (£154) per lesson.
In the same Instagram update, he also confirmed Madonna, 65, is no longer single. 'Truth be told, she's not single. She's dating a guy . . . That's her life. She'll do what she wants to do,' he said, according to the Mirror.
The Like a Virgin hitmaker, reportedly worth $850million (£658million), boasts a lucrative property portfolio including a $32.5million (£25million) mansion in New York's Upper East Side.
The property reportedly has 13 bedrooms, a drawing room and lavish kitchen as well as a 3,000-square-foot garden. This joins her various homes scattered across the world such as in Lisbon, London and Beverly Hills.
As for her relationship, David, the singer has nothing but praise for her son.
The chart-topping singer decided to adopt a one-year-old David from Malawi back in 2006 with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie.
In an interview with British Vogue in 2019 she opened up about her bond with her son.
'What he has more than anything is focus and determination,' the Grammy winner said.
'I'm pretty sure he got it from me. He's the one I have the most in common with. I feel like he gets me; he has more of my DNA than any of my children so far. Let's see what happens - it's still early days for everyone.'
Last year, Madonna suffered a huge health scare after nearly dying from a bacterial infection that put her into an induced coma.
After postponing her Celebration Tour to recover, the pop icon has since praised her children for their unwavering support.
'As a mother, you can really get caught up in the needs of your children and the seemingly endless giving. But when the chips were down, my children really showed up for me. I saw a side to them I had never seen before
'I saw a side to them I had never seen before. It made all the difference,' she wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post after leaving hospital.
